Jakarta – The Indonesian Defense Forces (TNI) together with the National Police (Polri) are keen to take precautionary measures in securing a series of activities of the 10th World Water Forum in Bali, scheduled for 18-25 May 2024.

Operations Assistant to the TNI Commander Major General Gabriel Lema said that TNI would carry out high-level security ahead of the arrival of the delegations until the completion of this world's largest water forum.

"The security measures will be implemented in the Nusa Dua area of Bali and in other designated venues, such as Ubud, Lake Batur as well as other popular tourist destinations. We ensure that Bali is safe from detrimental actions," said Major General Gabriel Lema during a meeting with World Water Council’s President Loïc Fauchon in Jakarta, this week.
